Swim Meets
The team goal is to attend one meet each month. Swim meet schedules are worked out by the North Carolina swim delegation. Most meets are held in Campbell, Goldsboro, Greenville, Tarboro, Hillsborough, and Raleigh, with Morehead City being the most distant. More advanced swimmers may also compete in state, regional and national competitions. Most swim meets are one or two days long depending on the type of meet and how many teams are competing with other swimmers in their age group and within their ability. As swimmers improve their times they move up to more challenging competitions.
